WHAT IS THE CONTEST ABOUT?

• IT'S TO CHANGE THE CURRENT GUM LOGO TO A NEW UNIFIED LOGO THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE MINISTRY
• TO PROVIDE A SENSE OF IDENTITY AMONG THE YOUTHS
• WE WANT U! TO SHOW OFF YOUR ARTISTIC TALENT! HAHAHA!!

*ALL YOUTHS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CONTEST!*

LET'S MOVE ON TO THE CONTEST DURATION....TICK TOCK...

• CONTEST STARTS ON THE 18TH OF JANUARY 2009 AND IT'S GOING TO END ON THE 22ND OF FEBRUARY 2009 AT 2359 HRS, WE ARE VERY ACCURATE!
• CONTEST FORMS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED TO ALL CLASS LEADERS
• ALL ENTRIES AND CONTEST FORMS WILL BE SUBMITTED TOGETHER TO ME (BRO ZHENGYANG) OR EMAIL TO US AT YOUTHGLORYCHURCH@GMAIL.COM

CONTEST INFORMATION!

THE LOGO MUST COVER THREE BROAD THEMES OF THE FOLLOWING:

I. learning the word
II. youthful spirit
III. making disciple

TAKE NOTE THAT THE LOGO SHOULD HAVE WORDING SPACING TO PUT IN THE FOLLOWING:

• Youth Bible School (青少年培训)
• Youth Fellowship (青少年团契)
• Youth Outreach Ministry (青少年外展部)
• Gum Media Ministry (青少年多媒体组)

STILL IN THE CONTEST INFORMATION!

• Logo can be hand-drawn or designed using computer software. For those who are using the computer software, do take a look at the technical details in the contest form!
• All designs must be in A4 size paper!!!
• Do take note that you are to explain clearly about the significance of your logo when submitting your designs (e.g what does yellow represent?)

VOTING!

• The Youth ministry committee & Gum Media team will select the best 5 designs.
  
• The youths will then vote for the best among the best 5! Details of voting will be announced at a later date!!

PRIZES!

• special prizes will be given to the top 5 design winners
  
• participation prizes will be also given to those who participate!
  
• the best design will be used as the official GUM logo with effect from (w.e.f) 22 march 2009

For those interested in posting on the portal, please take note of the following admin instructions.

1. If you already have a blog with Blogger, email us your blog email address, we will then grant posting rights to you.
   For this case, your blog email may not be a gmail account.
   
   
2. If you do not have a blog, you have to set up a gmail account. (Do note that Blogger requires new users to apply for a gmail account.) Then, email us your gmail address.
   

Qn: When will i be able to blog on the portal?
Ans: We will send an email to inform you that you have been granted access to blog on this portal. Do note that the admin will grant all youths access the blog. You have to accept the invitation that is send to you by blogger.

* Youth email address is based on the email given by adminstrative dept on youth ministry/youth bible school.
