Sharing

Fellow bros and sis in christ,

Wanted to share this important lesson i've learnt from this particular book during my quiet time. I borrowed this book from a classmate of mine as i was looking for a book on faith in serving God, family and stuff...

As i just started this book, something i've learnt - God make the ordinary us to be extra-ordinary. I was medidating through and thinking that how small or how ordinary we are but God is willing to use us to be extra-ordinary. this verse struck me a lot: "God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowely things of the world and the despised things" 1 Corinthians 1:27-28. Let's all take some time and medidate on this important lesson.

Another lesson i've learnt this week is that we might have all the knowledge in the world but if we dont have wisdom from God, we are like nothing. That's another lesson I've learnt after watching a video on Ben Carson, my lecturer was showing on how motivation works in people..but what Carson said have struck me even more. In the video, he strongly emphasized the importance of prayer. Let's all take some time to think about it. Do share on your thoughts as well :)

Lastly, i would strongly recommend this book to all..i think u can find it via christian bookstores as well..I'm just starting to read the book and the 1st part of the 1st chapter have touched me deeply into thinking..

yes! I think it's something we always say but don't quite fully believe in our hearts that God uses the humblest and most foolish of us as all he looks for is a heart for Him.

On wisdom, I was reading from Acts 6 that even for service in non 'spiritual' areas (quotation marks are our perception of these areas such as admin etc.), spiritual wisdom is very important criteria
