How come no comment from our youths? Is it fellowship important to you? Fellowship is part of our Christian life. A healthy fellowship enables us to live with joy, share the goodness, grow in spirit, build our bonding etc. I hope to hear from individual as this will help us to structure a fellowship for all the youths in our church. I pray that God will open up your heart in this sharing.

Fellowship to me is a place where I can let my guard down, enjoy myself and the company of good friends, while learning more about God.

It is kind of important to me, because I realise that as you grow older, you find out how harsh life can be, how hypocritical people can be. But in fellowship, I don't have to care so much. I can just be myself, and enjoy the company.

For me, fellowship is of utmost importance as it differentiates Christians from non-Christians. It means being in a church, serving God together and exchanging your lives with each other so much so that when someone excels, you rejoice with the person; when someone is experiencing sorrows, you mourn with him or her and when someone is have troubles in their walk with God, you support the person through loving rebukes, reminder and prayer or even just "being there".

It is so different from normal "catching up with friends". I have always known this but Christian friends are totally different from non-Christian friends as the friendship we share is based in God.

However, fellowship is not just tuan qi every Saturday. It is those little time you DELIBERATELY spend together, the time you sacrifice to talk to a person and just BE THERE for the person when you notice something is wrong EVEN IF it inconveniences you. It's funny how as we know a person longer, the easier it will be to take the friendship for granted. Then we may think that since we have known each other for so long, it is not as important to meet up and do things together as compared to those friends we have not met up for a long time.

Maybe that's why the Bible reminded us in Hebrews 10:25
"Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching."

Yeap. Fellowship is important as the relationships we have in church are the ones that attracts people to church, and the friends we have are those who will help us in the long walk with God...

the best example of Christian fellowship is found among the 1st century Christians in Acts 2:42-47 led by the apostles, "They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship...And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved." want to see how the Lord can increase the size of youth fellowship? then do what those believers did - devote ourselves in Bible Study and to the fellowship...etc...and witness for ourselves God's blessing of saved people added to yf.

in those days many Christians were being persecuted - some thrown into lions' dens, some burned alive in flames... so it was very difficult n dangerous for them to meet for fellowship n they had to meet secretly in believers' homes, 'underground fellowship' which was identified by the symbol of a fish known as 'icthus' - only those with this logo were accepted into the fellowship for fear of being persecuted. so now that we are able to meet regularly in a safe and comfortable environment let us not take God's grace for granted but seriously commit ourselves to love one another. Jesus said, "By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another." John 13:35
