Why Worship Nite?

Just a simple sharing on how the idea of worship nite started. The idea of worship nite started back in 2004. This idea came from our fellow bro Wong Yuen. He was the Music Dept Ic for fellowship and was sharing this idea during a committee meeting back in 2004. This idea came to him while attending the youth service in Australia. He wanted to bring the idea of "worship Nite" to our fellowship. Our 1st Worship Nite was held on 27 Nov 04. Worship was led by Bro Wong Yuen and Sis Ying Shan. Being 1st time holding this event, only the members of fellowship attended this event. Hence, in the 2nd year of our Worship Nite ( 27 Aug 05) , more marketing and promotions was done. That year, more youths came and of course bringing their non-chrstians friends as well. The worship was led by Bro Wei Jie and Sis Ying Shan. Last year, we held our 3rd worship nite aka PRAISE 06 held on 25th Aug 06. The theme of the worship nite was on prayer and worship. Many who attended the event was touched by the sharings, songs as well as the song presentation by the choir. This year, our 4th Worship Nite. The theme - black and white 07.
